Visa Guidance for Non-EU Applicants
STUDY ONLINE. TRAVEL ONCE. PLAN EARLY.
Semesters A and B are fully online, so you do not need to live in Greece during the first academic year.
In-person attendance is required only for the 10-day Summer School in Trikala during Semester C.
Entry rules vary by nationality, passport and residence status. Some students may travel visa-free; others may need a short-stay Schengen visa. Confirm your own requirements before booking travel.
Plan Your Entry to Greece
01 — CHECK YOUR STATUS
Use the official Greek visa resources below and contact the Greek embassy or consulate responsible for your place of residence. Do not assume that a National D visa is always required.
02 — APPLY EARLY
Requirements and processing times vary. Begin well in advance and avoid non-refundable travel bookings until your entry permission is confirmed.
03 — REQUEST PROGRAMME DOCUMENTS
After admission, the academic office can provide confirmation of enrolment and required Summer School attendance. Visa decisions are made by the competent authorities and cannot be guaranteed by the programme.
