Dr. Aristidis Veskoukis has obtained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Thessaly, Larissa, Greece. He had post doc training at the same Department as well as at the Department of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Serres, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Serres, Greece. He has published 3 book chapters and 60 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. His research interests focus on the role of nutritional antioxidant compounds, xenobiotics and exercise on the alterations of redox status in vitro and in vivo. His citation index is >2100 with an h-index of 24
